Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Thursday, May 9, thronged the party headquarters clad in red in solidarity with their chair, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, who has been invited by the police on allegations of kidnapping and arson.

A press conference convened by the party’s Council of Elders around the same time Mr. Ampofo was scheduled to meet the police  was well patronized by some executive members, including himself.

The council of elders dared the police to arrest Mr. Ampofo if he fails to honour their invitation.
