Hundreds of residents at Hohoe Municipality hit the streets on Friday morning to register their concerns over poor roads.
The residents blocked roads at the Kledzo and Alavato junctions in Hohoe from 6:00am to about 11:30 in the morning preventing vehicles from Ho, Accra and other towns from entering the Hohoe township.
They burnt tyres in the middle of the road causing drivers plying the road to make u-turns to use alternative roads.
Although Governments over the years have made several promises to complete the eastern corridor road, which cut across Hohoe, the road is yet to receive the needed attention.
Residents seem to have had enough of the poor nature of the road, and decided to hit the streets to register their grievances.
