Arsenal have confirmed that Ghanaian International Thomas Partey will miss their Premier League game against Leeds this weekend as he continues his recovery from an injury he sustained against Aston Villa.
The midfielder missed Ghana’s double header against Sudan in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and is set to miss Arsenal’s game against Leeds United on Sunday.
The Gunners say the former Atletico Madrid man sustained a strain to his left thigh and will continue to assess him.
As a result of this, he will miss the trip to Leeds to continue his rehabilitation.
Partey joins four other players including Egyptian International Mohammed Elneny to miss the game at Elland Road.
