Partey, Amartey in Grant’s starting line-up

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey will mark is debut in the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday, when the Black Stars take on Uganda’s Cranes at the Stade de Port-Gentil.

It will be the first Group D match at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Partey has won a starting place in Avram Grant’s team since making his debut less than a year ago in Ghana’s 2-0 win over Mauritius.

Tuesday’s starting line-up sees an experienced squad with captain Asamoah Gyan going to lead the charge.

Ghana XI:

Goalkeeper: Razak Braimah

Defenders: Afful Harrison, John Boye, Daniel Amartey and Baba Rahman

Midfielders: Mubarak Wakaso, Andre Dede Ayew, Thomas Partey and Christian Atsu

Strikers: Asamoah Gyan and Jordan Ayew
