Parrot Mouth lashes out at Nigerian promoters, event organisers

Ghanaian Comedian Steven Teye with stage name Parrot Mouth has complained bitterly about how Nigerian event organizers and promoters have refused to bill them to perform in the country.

The comedian stated in a interview with 3Entertainment reporter Nathaniel Baah that Ghanaians always put Nigerian promoters on their shows but they are selfish with theirs.

“I tell people that Nigerians are very greedy when it comes to their platform. If not, then they should be pulling the Ghanaians there to go and perform but I Don’t know why they are doing,” he lamented.

“It’s not right because if we organize show here in Ghana, We bring them so I think they should also carry our people there.”

Meanwhile, Nigerian comedian Kenny Blaq reacted to Parrot Mouth’s accusations saying Nigerian promoters refuse to put Ghanaian comedians on their platform because they are not visible in their country.

Kenny Blaq noted that Ghanaian comedians need to do more to be seen outside their country instead of complaining or feeling entitled.
