Parliament resumes Tuesday

Parliament is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, October 27 for the 3rd Meeting of the 3rd Session.

This Meeting, which will be the last for the year 2015, will see a presentation on the 2016 budget by the Finance Minister, Seth Terkper.

There are also 25 bills at table for presentation, a statement issued by the Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Kate Addo, over the weekend said.

Among these bills are the Ghana School of Law Bill, Legal Service Bill and Tax Administration Bill.

Others are also at committee level being worked on, the statement indicated.

Among these are Ghana Aids Commission Bill, Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Bill and Whistleblower (Amendment) Bill.

Ten others are at the consideration stage.

The MPs are also expected to move into the new office complex and will hold the Nine Lessons and Carols’ night on December 16.
