The legislative body in Ghana is resuming today Monday, December 14, 2020.
This comes after the general elections.
A notice from Parliament said the Speaker is acting by order 6 of the Standing Orders of the House.
“All Honourable members and staff are to take note and attend the house timeously. Please note that all COVID-19 protocols will be observed at all parliamentary sitting,” the statement signed by the Director of Public Relations Kate Addo read.
Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said “MPs reconvene at 10am today, to conclude business for the 7th Parliament. Key issues include the passage of the PPP Bill to help crowd in non fiscal resources for investment. President @NAkufoAddo will also deliver his final SONA for the 7th Parliament. May we work with dispatch.”
