As part of the preparations to serve viewers with the utmost celebration of the coronavirus era Christmas, Onua TV, a subsidiary of Media General, brought its viewers a ‘topsy-turvy’, on Friday, December 25, 2020.
Non-media professionals who are into various professions were lined up to host the ‘Maakye’, the morning show on the channel.
Appearing on the Christmas day were the Tesano Police Divisional Commander, ACP Oduro Amaning, Empress Gifty, a Gospel Musician and Onua TV’s 100 Degrees host, Kwame Tutu.
Segment by segment, these guest presenters dominated various segments with curious interviews.
ACP Oduro Amaning hosted Founder and Leader of International Crusade Jesus Ministry on the topic: “Essence of Christmas”.
Empress Gifty joined our ace sports presenter, Daniel Nana Kwame Yeboah, and she dazzled in the sports fraternity, even though she is not a sports fun.
Empress then joined Kwame Tutu on the topic: Family and Christmas with the two guests, Lady Pastor Mrs. Salormay Owusu Afriyie and Bishop Dr. Sam Owusu who is the General Overseer of Pottersville Church International.
There was a rendition by the African Youth Choir from Winneba in the Central Region, who gave series of Christmas Carols to the admiration of the viewers.
As part of the service to its viewers, such topsy-turvies will continue throughout the eve.
On Monday, December 28, 2020, ace Gospel Musician, Philipa Baafi and Adentan Divisional Police Commander, ACP Joseph Owusu Bempah, would be our guest presenters from 7am to 9am.
This will be followed by Tuesday, December 29, 2020, with ASP Samuel Kofi Opoku who is the Deputy Public Relations Officer at the Ghana Prisons Service and sensational ‘16-years’, Mzbel, taking viewers to the height.
Tuesday will see a performance from Ben Adjei who is a gospel musician.
Media General promises to give its viewers, listeners and readers the best in this “covid-Christmas”.
