Olympics showed supremacy and ended Asante Kotoko’s unbeaten run in this season’s Premier League through Michael Yeboah’s second half strike.
The Porcupine Warriors were outplayed in the first half by the Wonder Club thanks to Gladson Awako’s heroics in midfield.
The efforts of Olympics paid off eventually in the 54th minute. Michael Yeboah headed home from a cross by Abdul Manaf to give the away side the opener.
Asante Kotoko lacked creativity and failed to create dangerous chances to break the resolute Olympics defence.
Out of 4 games, Asante Kotoko have now won 1, drawn 2 and lost one and have 5 points, 6 separating them and league leaders Karela United.
