Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) in the Odododiodio Constituency Nii Lantey Vanderpuye says the ruling party will win the December 7 Elections in a first round of voting.
According to him, the NDC is dedicated to sustaining development and creating more jobs for Ghanaians.
The presidential staffer was speaking at a rally held in the Constituency.
Nii Lantey Vanderpuye admitted that education is key to national development but stressed that putting infrastructure in place is more important for the country now.
“We want to make sure we sustain development, create more jobs, open up the area and get many people educated,” he said.
“We need a sustainable programme that will make education more viable. NDC wants to put the horse before the cart but the NPP wants to put the cart before the horse. That’s the difference between us.”
The incumbent Member of Parliament for the Constituency, Nii Tackie Commey, threw his support behind Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, saying the former sports caster is the best candidate for Odododiodio Constituency.
Mayor of Accra Dr Alfred Oko Vanderpuije promised constituents that two ‘Millennium City’ schools will be built in the Constituency and the Salaga Market redeveloped if the NDC retained power.
