The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is gearing up for its national delegates’ conference at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra in July.
As a result, internal elections for the party’s executive positions at the lower branches are scheduled to start at the end of this month.
Already, polling station executives have been elected.
The ruling party is scheduled to open nominations for aspirants for constituency positions on Tuesday, April 19 across the country.
This will take two days before a vetting session is held on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22.
There will be room for appeals before the constituency elections come off between Friday, April 28 and Sunday, May 1.
From there, the party, as per its schedule, will move to regional polls with the elections scheduled for May 27-29.
Nominations for regional executive aspirants will open on Sunday, May 15.
All these are geared towards the national executive elections, scheduled to be held on July 14-16 in Accra.
