Kofi Jamar has shared a lesson that life as a Ghanaian musician has taught him.
The Kumasi-based rapper rose to fame a few years ago when the Kumerica wave was at its zenith.
Like other talented rappers, Kofi Jamar hopped on a drill beat, made a name for himself, and caught the attention of music lovers globally.
Jamar let out that one lesson he has learned as a musician is that nobody cares about you.
The Ekoso hitmaker explained that fans only care about the music an artist gives to them but not the well-being of the artist.
“Nobody cares about you. They only care about your song. Yes, You shouldn’t be thinking somebody cares about you. No, they care about the song,” Jamar said.
When Giovani Caleb tried to defend music lovers, Kofi Jamar added that “if you(a musician) cannot give anything (to the fans), then you are no longer relevant in the industry.”
Currently, Kofi Jamar has a new song featuring Kenyan rapper Kaligraph Jones titled Dangerous.
