No body part of missing woman found dead was missing – Police

The police have denied reports that the 77-year-old woman who was reported missing at Anaji Brigade, a suburb of Takoradi in the Western Region, was found dead with some body parts missing. Body of the woman, Theresa Otoo, was discovered Thursday, January 2, 2020, nine days after she was declared missing, with reports that some body parts were missing, a claim her family have since denied. A police source told Takoradi-based Connect FM that the body of the woman was retrieved intact, with no parts missing as was claimed by some eyewitnesses. The body of the retired telephonist was found lying about five hundred meters from where she lived. Our correspondent reported that it was a sad moment for the people in the neighbourhood when the woman was found dead. Family members reported the the discovery of the body to the police.
