You’re still humble, power hasn’t changed you – Otumfuo tells Bawumia

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has extolled the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for his humility.

The Asantehene who stated that he has known Dr Bawumia for a very long time observed that political power has not changed the former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana as a humble person.

Speaking through his linguist when Dr Bawumia paid a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday, June 12, the Asantehene said “I have known you, political power has not changed you, you are still humble, keep being humble. Continue to treat Ghanains with respect and humility and explain to them what you want to do for them. I know you can do the job if Ghanaians vote for you.”

Dr Bawumia started his tour of the Ashanti region on Monday June 9.
