The Elections Committee of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has reminded all members, aspiring candidates, and stakeholders that nominations for the 2025 National and Regional Executive Elections officially close at midnight on Friday, May 30, 2025.
This is contained in a press release issued by the Chairman of the Committee, Mr Peter Agbeko dated May 26.
“This is a crucial final call to all eligible members who wish to contribute meaningfully to the leadership of the GJA to pick up and submit their nomination forms before the deadline,” he said.
According to him. “Since the opening of nominations on Friday, May 16, 2025, the Elections Committee has received considerable interest from across the country, and we are encouraged by the enthusiasm shown so far. We urge all others still preparing their documents to act swiftly to avoid disappointment.

Nomination forms are accessible via a secure link upon proof of payment of the applicable fee into the designated GJA bank account:

- National Level
- President – GH₵ 5,000
- All Other Positions – GH₵ 3,000
