Foreign Affairs Minister-designate, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has applauded President Mahama for establishing the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team.
Okudzeto Ablakwa during his vetting on Friday, January 31, 2025 disclosed that 20 bungalows which were nearly demolished were saved due to the action of the ORAL team.
He noted that the establishment of the ORAL team is huge step towards the anti-corruption drive by President Mahama.
“One of the jobs that I will ever remain so proud of is this sacrificial job to chair ORAL which is a major plunk in President Mahama’s anti-corruption drive. The establishment of ORAL is such a master stroke and President Mahama must be commended.
“I can reveal to you today that since ORAL was established just by receiving information from general public, we have saved this country 20 bungalows which were going to be demolished and I can provide the list.
“Bungalows that belonged to the recent department of the foreign affairs, the ministry of Gender, the CSIR bulldozers moved in but because they called the ORAL secretariat and we then called National Security to take action these bungalows were saved,” he stated.
He urged all Ghanaians to support the ORAL team to deal with anti-corruption activities in the country.
