Swiss Ambassador pays courtesy call on Interior Minister, explores collaboration opportunities

The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, today received the Swiss Ambassador to Ghana, H. E. Simone Petra Giger, marking a step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed the Minister on the various sectors where the Swiss Government has been actively involved, highlighting upcoming projects and initiatives.
Hon. Muntaka expressed interest in exploring collaboration opportunities, particularly in effective and innovative approaches toward prison management in the country.
The Minister assured the Ambassador of continuous collaboration between the Ministry and the Swiss Government. He emphasizes the commitment of the Ministry to working together to achieve its mandate and create an environment that enables businesses to thrive in the country.
This development is expected to further strengthen the relationship between Ghana and Switzerland, potentially leading to new opportunities for cooperation in various sectors.
