Suspected drunk-driver run into traders in Koforidua

Two female traders have been hospitalized after a suspected drunk driver of a Toyota Hiace Urvan bus, knocked down a metal pole and run into them on a pavement in front of the Y and K sales outlet in Koforidua.

The driver with car registration number GB 4455-12, failed  in an attempt to make a u-turn from a nearby traffic light to join the Koforidua central business district road leading to the Ghana commercial bank.

The incident, which occurred at about 10:20pm Friday,  is being investigated by the New Juaben Municipal Police whiles the victims are receiving treatment at the Koforidua Central Hospital.
