The Southern Volta Premix Coordinator, Elikem Sewordor, who was accused of diverting premix fuel meant for fishermen in the region to Togo, has been promoted to the Volta Premix Fuel Board. The Board,  chaired by the Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Letsa, also has the Dean of the MDCEs in Volta,  Kudjo Attah,  as a member. Other members of the Board are Johnson Avuletey (currently the regional premix coordinator), George Dzeble and Albetros Adevu. The promotion of Mr. Sewordor comes on the back of his active engagement with stakeholders on the issues of accountability in the operations of landing beaches within the southern Volta enclave. Another member of the Board, Mr. Johnson Avuletey who recently accused the Southern Volta coordinator of premix fuel diversion to Togo, which accusations Mr. Sewordor disputed vehemently. Mr. Sewordor has consequently sued Mr. Avuletey with whom he will now serve on the same Board. A writ of summons filed at the court had Elikem’s lawyer argued that the utterances by the defendant which were published on a local Radio station, Victory FM and Citi FM were libelous and defamatory to the character of his client. The High Court in Denu has since January 29, 2018 given Mr. Avuletey eight days to cause an appearance to be entered for him. By 3news.com|Ghana]]>
