Richmond Rockson appointed as spokesperson for Energy and Green Transition Ministry

The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has announced the appointment of Richmond Rockson, as its new Spokesperson and Head of Communications.
The appointment takes effect immediately.
In a press release issued on Tuesday May 13, the Ministry stated that Mr Rockson brings extensive experience to the role, citing his background as a lawyer, energy analyst, business development consultant, and media contributor through energy policy advocacy.
As the official spokesperson, Mr Rockson will serve as the primary liaison for all media inquiries and public engagements concerning the Ministry’s work.
“Effective immediately, all media representatives, stakeholders, and the public are requested to direct their communications, including interview requests, press inquiries, and other related matters to Mr. Rockson,” the statement said.
His appointment is part of the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to transparency, open dialogue, and improved communication with stakeholders as Ghana advances its energy and green transition agenda.
The Ministry expressed confidence that Mr Rockson’s appointment will strengthen engagement with the public and help shape conversations around Ghana’s sustainable energy future.
