Reject those who attempt to bribe you – Goosie tells NDC delegates

A flagbearer aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr Goosi Tanoh has urged party delegates not to allow themselves to be bribed by people seeking to lead the party into the next elections. Speaking to some delegates at Dodowa as part of his 5-day campaign tour of the Greater Accra region, he said “do not allow yourself to be purchased”. He wants the delegates to avoid any form of electoral manipulation in the party’s upcoming presidential primaries later in the year, saying “I want you to take your power seriously, think for yourself and do not follow blindly.”

Goosie Tanoh wants delegates to make their independent informed decisions on who to vote as flagbearer
Mr. Tano said it was imperative for delegates to critically examine the campaign messages of the various aspirants and make their independent informed decision on whom to entrust the fortunes of the party. He also expressed worry over the Akufo-Addo’ government’s inability to continue projects started by the erstwhile John Mahama government. The aspirant also underscored the need for Ghana to invest in agriculture as many jobs can come from that sector. “Agriculture is the area where we have an advantage to succeed because it gives jobs to lots of individuals starting from the farmer to the workers and those who invest,” he said.
