No government can solve all problems confronting the nation in one day – NAPO calls for support to ‘break the 8’

Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO)

Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patritic Party’s (NPP) vice presidential candidate has emphasised the need for politicians to use their influence in bringing development to their people.

Addressing party supporters in the Assin North Constituency, he urged the people of Assin North to have confidence in the ruling party and its presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

“Politics and governance are about development and that persons in positions of power and authority must use their offices to influence benefits for their respective communities” he remarked.

He told the people, to reject politics of lies, since government cannot solve every problem, emphasising the current administration has done a lot in the interest of human development and infrastructure. NAPO acknowledged though that, “there is more to be done, the mandate of the people is the only way the ruling NPP can continue its good work.”

“No government can solve all problems confronting the nation in one day. Any politicians who promises to do everything is a liar” he said.

Dr Prempeh was accompanied by the lawmaker for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong as well as other party bigwigs.
