NAPO suspends campaign to prepare for NPP manifesto launch

The campaign team of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has suspended its campaign ahead of the launch of the party’s manifesto.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is scheduled to launch the “It is possible” manifesto on Sunday, August 18 in Takoradi in the Western Region.

According to the party, the manifesto will focus on jobs and provide an enabling environment for the private sector.

The party’s running mate who has been campaigning in some parts of Ashanti Region has thus suspended the campaign tours to enable him prepare for the event.

Sources close to the campaign team said, Dr Prempeh is in the Greater Accra Region to participate in a National Council and National Executive Committee meetings.
