Tragedy has hit the Krachi Municipal assembly in the Oti region as the Municipal Chief executive, Bernard Aborkugya has passed away unexpectedly.
The unfortunate incident happened while he was speaking at a matriculation program at the Dambai College of education on Friday, April 5, 2024.
According to eye witnesses, Mr. Aborkugya fell unconscious while delivering a speech at the Ceremony.
He was swiftly transported to the Worawora Government Hospital but unfortunately passed on en route to the hospital. The sudden demise of the MCE has sent shockwaves throughout the municipality and the nation as a whole.
This tragic event comes less than two years after the passing of his predecessor under mysterious circumstances raising questions and concerns among residents.
