Member of Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency, Sylvester Tetteh, has stated that he deserves a second chance to continue with his development efforts in the area.
According to him, “looking at my achievements in three and half years as MP I really deserve a second chance to continue what I’ve started”.
He said this at SDA Weija District Camp Meeting 2024 held in his constituency.
“When I was elected as MP, all the roads in my constituency were rough, but I prayed to God to give me strength to lobby for help and we are able to construct 2.5 kilometers of the broadcasting road that floods anytime it rains”.
“From West Hills Mall to Bortianor Ajasco road 6.2 kilometers, 2.2 kilometers is asphalt while the 4 kilometers from Ajasco is still ongoing which those in those areas can attest to that. Baba Dogo, Block factory and Tuba Fulani roads by God’s grace contractors are on it”.
“The remaining roads are the coastal road to Tuba Junction which has been given to two contractors and I’m hoping by December or January it will be done”. Sylvester added.
The MP recalled that “Four years ago, I promised the community that from old barrier to Tuba there’s no SHS, and the two senior high schools in the Constituency are Christain Methodist and Amanfro SHS though is free, but many students are at home finding it difficult to go to school. I said in my heart by the end of my four years in office, I should be able to build a senior high school and now Bortianor day school is here and this September they will admit students”.
“I’ve also built a market at Tuba,” he added.
“We all know that the elections day is on Sabbath and therefore SDA leaders have said the church members won’t participate in the elections but am pleading on individuals here to go out and vote for me,” Mr Tetteh urged.
