A member of the NDC communications team in Asante Mampong, Osei Akoto has been stabbed to death, according to reports.
Mr. Osei Akoto was found in a pool of blood after a disagreement with his wife on Thursday night.
Residents close to the couple confirm to 3news that Akoto and his wife have not been in good terms for a while now.

The sad incident is said to have occurred on Thursday night during a quarrel with his wife around 10 pm.
His wife is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
TV3’s Ashanti Regional Correspondent, Ibrahim Abubakar reports that the wife confirmed stabbing the husband without deliberate intention to kill him.
he said the wife narrated how the husband has been abusing her including the night of the incident when she took the knife only to defend herself by scaring the husband.
She claims that she did not know how her husband got stabbed and has been asking of the condition of her husband since the incident happened.
Osei Akoto left behind three children who are currently with his family for care.
Police have also begun investigations into the circumstances that led to his death.
The NDC has since indicated that the party is awaiting investigations by the police into the matter.
