Asante Akim South: Confusion over Obour’s billboard located at voting centre

Confusion has erupted over a decision to remove a billboard of one of the aspirants in Asante Akim South, Bice Osei Kuffuor during the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary primaries on Saturday, January 27.

The huge poster of Bice Osei Kuffuor was mounted not more than ten steps away from the voting center days before the primaries.

The aspirant argued that the current location of the billboard was previously not a voting centre, hence the reason the billboard was mounted.

However, after several confrontations the aspirant accepted for the billboard to be moved to a different location far from the voting centre.

870 delegates are expected to decide on who represents the NPP on the 2024 parliamentary ballot in the Asante Akim South.

Managing Director of Ghana Post, Bice Osei Kuffuor is making a second attempt to unseat the incumbent MP, Kwaku Asante-Boateng. The other contender is Amofa Eric.
