The Alan for President (A4P) Campaign Team has provided video evidence capturing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Adentan Constituency Chairman Koku Acolatse endorsing the former Trade Minister.
“On my own behalf as well as the constituency executives, the Coordinators and the enthusiastic Polling Station executives, we want to welcome His Excellency, me I have started calling him His Excellency already, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen,” Mr Acolatse is heard in the video saying.
It was at Alan Kyerematen’s cluster durbar for four constituencies including the Adentan Constituency on Wednesday, July 5.
Mr Acolatse also added that the former Ghana Ambassador to the US has worked so hard and selflessly “that is why Adenta today, we are enthusiastically represented here.”
But he later denied making those comments, calling them fake.
Aides to the Constituency Chairman dared the A4P Campaign to produce video evidence on the utterance.
