Eighteen aspirants have been disqualified by the National Parliamentary Appeals Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the party’s parliamentary primaries in orphan constituencies. Two aspirants have also had their nominations referred to the National Executive Committee (NEC) for a substantive decision. The rest out of a total of 292 aspirants have consequently been cleared to contest the primaries.
