Police solicit help to arrest kidnappers of Canadians

The Ashanti Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service is urging the public to assist in its investigations by volunteering information that will lead to the arrest of the kidnappers of two Canadians. It said that will “complement the effort of security agencies” in rescuing the two. On Tuesday, June 4, the Command received a complaint about a case of kidnapping at the Kumasi Royal Golf Club in suburb Ahodwo. Two Canadians who are on volunteering mission in Ghana are the victims. They – a 19-year-old and 20-year-old – are volunteering for non-governmental organisation Youth Challenge International.
