Playback: Barker-Vormawor faces Appointments Committee over ‘bribery’ allegations

The convenor of FixTheCountry and DemocracyHub, Oliver Barker-Vormawor has been hauled before the Appointments Committee of Parliament for making claims that some members of the Appointments Committee take monies to approve ministerial nominees after vetting.

The allegations were made in a Facebook post on Friday, January 24, 2025 after which he was summoned by the Appointments Committee.

He is represented by the legal team, Nana Ato Dadzie Esq and former chief of staff under Rawlings and lawyer Victor Kodjoga Adawudu.
