Four persons working for Underground Mining Alliance, UMA, a company contracted by Anglogold Ashanti Obuasi mine, have been trapped underground.
One person is feared dead.
The incident occurred on Monday May 17.
The management of Anglogold Ashanti Obuasi Mine, has said they are still investigating the cause of the accident.
