A former student of Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana has been stabbed to death by a mate, following an argument between them, 3news.com can confirm. The two are said to be part of a group of former residents of the Hall – Old Vandals – who attended the funeral of another ‘fellow’. But on their way back, an argument ensued between the two, whose identities have not yet been disclosed. Police sources say the ‘killer’, in the heat of the argument, used a “broken bottle or a knife” to stab his fellow Vandal but realising the danger he might have caused helped in rushing the victim to the University Hospital in Legon. He, however, turned himself in at the police station after his fellow Vandal was pronounced dead at the Hospital. The police have begun investigations into the incident. Students of Commonwealth revealed to 3news.com how saddened they have become because of the incident. “We cannot even sleep,” a student said, “due to what has happened.” Another said: “There was blood all over at the venue where we ‘charge’ and I was even told they have washed away lots of it.” By Emmanuel Kwame Amoh|3news.com|Ghana ]]>
