The suspect is currently in police custody[/caption] A man by name Osei Kwame is in the grips of the police in the Central Region after a failed attempt to steal a motorcycle near Ofaakor. The suspect is said to have hired the services of motor rider John Otoo, 18, from Liberia Camp to Annor Town. But on the way, the suspect sprayed powdered pepper in the eyes of the cyclist, which got the two of them plunging down. Suddenly, another person, who is currently on the run, is said to have emerged from the bush and, together with the suspect – hitherto a pillion driver – beat up the teenager and took his motorcycle from him. But Otoo immediately raised alarm, which attracted residents. They, subsequently, gave the two a hot chase. Reports said sensing danger, the thieves abandoned the motor cycle and took to their heels. But luck eluded Osei Kwame, who was arrested by a police team led by Inspector B. Owusu. He would be arraigned before court in due course, 3news.com has gathered. Source: 3news.com|Ghana ]]>
