NUGSA Germany congratulates Mahama, Opoku-Agyemang

The National Union of Ghana Students and Associates (NUGSA), Germany, led by Mr. Paul Abrokwa, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to H.E. John Dramani Mahama on his successful return and reelection as President of the Republic of Ghana, and to H.E. Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang on your historic achievement as the first-ever female Vice President of our beloved nation.

The association said Mr Mahama’s victory is a testament to the trust and confidence Ghanaians have in your visionary leadership, dedication, and commitment to national development.

“We commend your unwavering focus on unity, progress, and inclusion, which are crucial for Ghana’s continued growth and prosperity.

As NUGSA Germany, we pledge our unflinching support and stand ready to provide any necessary assistance—academically, intellectually, and strategically—to ensure the success of your administration. We are inspired by Germany’s robust and efficient educational system, which significantly alleviates the financial burden on the government while producing skilled, resourceful citizens. We humbly encourage your administration to consider adapting and integrating similar principles into Ghana’s educational framework to further empower the youth and foster sustainable national development.

“Furthermore, we eagerly anticipate working closely with the incoming Ambassador to Germany to build a strong and productive relationship that benefits our compatriots in Germany and enhances Ghana’s global image.

“Once again, congratulations to you, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and to you, H.E. Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang. We wish you wisdom, strength, and success as you lead our nation toward a brighter future,” a statement  signed by Ms. Bridget Ntow, General Secretary, National Union of Ghana Students and Associates (NUGSA), Germany said.
