Registrar of the Scholarship Secretariat, Kinglsey Agyemang has been accused of influencing the just ended polling station elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with money.
Some members of the party in the constituency believe he is abusing his office for personal gains.
“He is using money to poison a rather cultured political environment,” a furious member of the NPP, Kwesi Danso in the constituency alleged.
In his view, through gross abuse of office, he has sufficient money to further his political ambitions of becoming the next Member of Parliament for the Abuakwa South Constituency.
Mr Kingsley Agyemang, who before his assumption of office was tainted with insurance fraud, is on record as the most travelled registrar of scholarship since Nkrumah’s days as it is an avenue to have his share of the stipend of the foreign students.
Members of the Constituency were totally shocked at the levels of money that he invested in vote-buying.
When 3news.com contacted an officer (name withheld) in his office, he said Mr Agyemang is unperturbed about this “issue because he is more concerned with addressing the issue of Ghanaian students in Ukraine and other parts of the world.”
