Kasoa: 101 internet fraudsters busted; wee, one gun, 126 laptops retrieved

A total of 101 suspected internet fraudsters and drug dealers have been arrested by the Police in Kasoa in the Central Region. They were arrested in four separate swoops in and around Kasoa, namely Obom, Akweley, Adade  and Gomoa Nyanyano Wednesday by the Kasoa Divisional Police Command. The police retrieved from them one pump action gun with live catridges, 126 laptops, 40 mobile phones, nine passports, internet moderms, unspecified amount of money and 11 wrappers of Indian hemp. He observed the Kasoa town was turning into an internet fraud centre but warned the Police was taking drastic action including swoops to fish them out of their various abode.
