According to Pastor Funke Felix-Adejumo, if you are the richest among your friends that relationship has expired. And it is time to move on and form better connections.

The lady pastor opined this during a sermon on the principles of wealth, where she revealed the effects of association on prosperity. Citing Joseph in the Bible, Pastor Felix-Adejumo pointed out a pattern of association or friendships he made even in prison.

“Joseph befriended wealthy prisoners. Butler, bakers, connected prisoners, even in the prison.”

She continued to explain that an upgrade is necessary when you are unchallenged in the situation you find yourself in.

“Some of you, you are the best person in your group. Wake up. That group should expire tonight. You are the richest among your friends when you sit at the table. That relationship has expired. Move on. Befriend wealthy mentors. You may not like that nose. It doesn’t matter. It is not their nose you came to look at. It is what they are. You look like what you look at.

…I have been poor before, so I know what it is. Poverty is bad. I hate poverty,” Pastor Funke concluded.
