President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s decision to ask the Auditor-General to proceed on his accumulated leave remains unchanged despite a petition by some citizens, the Presidency has said. In a letter dated July 13, 2020 and signed by Secretary to the President Nana Asante Bediatuo, the Presidency said the arguments of the petitioners were part of the considerations before the directive was issued. Citizens Korieh Duodu and Lolan Sagoe-Moses had petitioned the President on Wednesday, July 8, ultimately asking him to reconsider his decision to ask Daniel Yaw Domelevo to proceed on leave. But the Presidency said their request cannot be granted. Find Nana Asante Bediatuo’s letter below: Source: editors.3news.com|Ghana
