Over forty shops have been destroyed by fire in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital on Sunday January 10
The incident occurred around 11:00 AM at Aboabo station.
The inferno has caused some victims to lose their lifetime investment.
The fire is said to have started from one shop where a welder was seen working before sweeping through 30 other shops in the 2-storey building.
There was another fire outbreak at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on the same day.
