A Nigerian evangelist has criticised gospel singer Chidinma Ekile for how she dresses even after her conversion into full-time ministration.
According to the clergyman, a born-again Christian must exhibit the change both inwardly and outwardly. He says that one cannot claim to have turned away from the World and dress like those still in the World.
On his Facebook page, he posted pictures of Chindinma and compared how she looks the same even though she is a gospel singer now. He said, “This girl, Chidinma, claims to be born-again, but she still Dresses almost the same way she used to dress while in the World. The way you dress in the World should not be the same way you should dress in the Lord. There must be a change if you have truly encountered the Lord. You can not be born-again and still wear make-up, earrings, eyelash, false Nails, weave-on, attachment, rings and Trouser. Those things are from Satan, and it is of the World.”
He continued that when a person becomes born again, the way he or she walks, talks, and dresses should change automatically.
