Running mate to the flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party, Eva Lokko, joined residents of Fuo in the Savelugu District of the Northern Region in a clean-up exercise organized to whip up support for the party.
The exercise forms part of Eva Lokko’s one-week tour of the Northern Reggion.
In interacting with the Party’s supporters, Eva Lokko encouraged the community to promote environmental sanitation, stating that the PPP is committed to ridding the country of preventable diseases like Malaria and Cholera when voted into power.
As part of her tour, the former Director General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation visited the Sagnerigu East and Tamale Central constituencies of the Northern Region.
She also visited a former chairman of the Convention People’s Party Alhaji Maadugu, who was bedridden at the time of the visit.
Madam Lokko stressed that it is only the PPP that has visited the CPP chairman on his sick bed.
