GITFiC expands student clubs

The Ghana International Trade and Finance Conference (GITFiC) is expanding its student club across major tertiary institutions in Ghana.

The Conference inaugurated GITFiC-AfCFTA Students Club in March at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Since then, that arm of the Conference has been extended to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University of Development Studies (UDS) and All Nations University.

“We considered it prudent to loop in Africa’s educational structures and the academia into the subject and support the continental implementation to a success,” a short statement said.

GITFiC has become an authority on the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), having successfully organized the 3rd annual conference at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa.

It has also launched an AfCFTA-endorsed book, which have been distributed to schools and given to major leaders on the continent.
