E/R: Three teachers honoured by private security firm

A private security company, Chriwdog Security Company, as part of efforts to motivate teachers in their line of work has presented three separate awards to some teachers of the New Akrade Presbyterian Primary School in the Eastern Region. The award ceremony was held during the school’s Education Week on Sunday, October 20. The three best teachers, Augustina Aboagyewaa, Edze Felix and Theophilus Buetey, were given certificates of honour and undisclosed amount of monies for their good work. The award is the first if its kind by the company. Aside motivating teachers, it is also aimed to prioritize commitment and hard work in their daily activities. In his address, administrator of Chriwdog Security Company Opare Addo urged teachers across the country to continue working hard and produce students with the capacity to build the country. “I encourage teachers to continue their hard work and urge them to go the extra mile in helping children to catch up and become responsible adult in future.” Present at the award ceremony was the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Christian Ampadu, and Director Jacob Amoako, who is also the acting General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC).
