The Electoral Commission (EC) will be holding an Interparty Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting today Tuesday October 1 at the commission’s headquarters in Accra.

The meeting forms part of a transparent electoral process ahead of the 2024 general elections, the commission said.

According to the EC, the meeting aims to provide an opportunity for Political Parties to present any findings they may have with the Provisional Voters Register (PVR).

A statement issued by the commission said “The meeting aims at providing an opportunity for Political Parties to present any findings they may have with the Provisional Voters Register (PVR). It will also afford the Commission an opportunity to present an updated report on issues it has resolved with the PVR.

“To ensure that Citizens are adequately informed about the process, the Commission will provide live coverage of the meeting. This forms part of the Commission’s efforts to build trust in its processes.

“The Commission is confident that the feedback from the Political Parties will help to further strengthen the 2024 Voters Register.”
