E/R: Three arrested in Dos Amingos robbery incident

From left: Samuel, kwame and Prince[/caption] The Eastern Regional Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with a  robbery incident at Atekyem on the  New Juaben municipality of the Eastern region. They are believed to be among a gang of six robbers who attacked the offices of Dos Amingos Limited, which police report says deals in hardware, and tied up the security guards on duty. According to the police, they received a distressed call at about 2:00am on Friday, April 6 on the operations of the robbers from one Richard Kwabena Boakye, manager of Dos Amingos Limited “All of them said to be wearing face masks and armed with guns and cutlasses escaped before the arrival of the police,” the police announcing the arrest of the three said. The robbers succeeded in breaking the company’s safe and bolted with 38,405 cedis. However, three suspects were arrested by an undercover CID at their hideout at Obuoma near Water Works in Koforidua. They are Asare Kweku  Prince alias Prince 24 years, Kwame Abass 19 years, and Awudza Samuel alias Dada 19 years. They would be processed for court soon, the police said.
