Deputy D-G of National Lottery Authority supports NPP campaign in Essikado Ketan Constituency

The Deputy Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Western Regional Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Horma Akaisi Miezah, has donated to support the party’s campaign towards the December elections in the Essikadu Ketan Constituency.

Items donated include a Motorcycle, Sewing machines, Hairdryers, street bulbs, mosquito nets, T-shirts, Aprons, wire mesh and basins for the fisher folk, packs of water among others.

Horma Akaisi Miezah contested the Essikadu Ketan Constituency primaries of the NPP in January but lost to Charles Onuawonto Bissue.

She has called on her followers to vote massively for Charles Bissue and Dr. Bawumia in the December elections.

“We need unity to retain the seat. It will be difficult to win with a divided front, so I’m asking all my followers and party faithful to go out there to preach the good works of our party to voters. Let’s go out in our numbers to campaign for the people to vote massively for Dr Bawumia as the next President of Ghana and Charles Bissue as the next Member of Parliament for Essikadu Ketan. We cannot afford to hand over power to the NDC. These items I have donated are meant to support the campaign in the constituency”, she indicated.

She pledged to continue supporting the constituency as has always been the case.

Present to receive the items were Hon Joe Ghartey, Member of Parliament for Esssikadu Ketan, Mr. Francis Ndede-Siah Western Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Charles Onuawonto Bissue, Parliamentary candidate, Frederick Afful, Constituency chairman and constituency executives of the NPP in Essikadu Ketan.

Hon Joe Ghartey called on members of the NPP to vigorously campaign to ensure the party retains power.

“We have many people in the country who want the NPP to retain power, but we have to work for it. We, members of the party cannot sit idle and pretend as if we are angry. We have to put all that anger aside and go out to campaign. I know victory awaits us in December”, he indicated.
