The planned demonstration by a group calling itself ‘Disappointed Youth of NDC Crossing Over to NPP’ has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 14.

The demonstration, which will be held in the Volta Region, was originally scheduled to come off on July 7.

“After consultations with executives and the entire membership of the ‘Disappointed Youth of NDC crossing over to NPP’, and the Volta Regional Police Command, we wish to inform the media and the general public that our scheduled demonstration against the Mahama government which was originally slated to be held on the 7th day of July 2015, will now be held on 14th July 2015,” a statement issued by the group on Wednesday, June 24.

The statement signed by the group’s Chairman Adjase Tetteyfio Robert said the demonstration will be themed: “Ne movitↄ zu nunyala la, kefefe la nutso “ to wit “If the fool becomes wise, then the game is over”.

The demonstration is expected to begin at the Swansea Beach in Denu through some principal streets of Aflao.

“We are calling on all youth of the ruling party who also feel the heat in the country to join us, as well as everyone who sees the importance in this demonstration to join us.”
