Cyra Pamela Koranteng resigns as Judicial Secretary; Badinye Bapuuroh takes over

Dr. Cyracus Bapuuroh , Deputy Judicial Secretary has been directed to assume role of Judicial Secretary pending decision of Judicial Council and appointment of a substantive Judicial Secretary.

This comes in the wake of the resignation of Judicial Secretary, Her Ladyship Cyra Pamela Koranteng.

Her resignation request was officially accepted by the Judicial Council during its 291st meeting held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

In a memorandum dated April 24, Justice Baffoe-Bonnie directed Dr Bapuuroh to assume the responsibilities of the post until a substantive Judicial Secretary is confirmed.

“Wherefore you are hereby directed to assume the duties of Judicial Secretary pending decision by the Judicial Council and the eventual appointment of a substantive Judicial Secretary,” the memo stated.

The notice also instructed that members of the Judiciary, the Judicial Service of Ghana, and the general public should take note of the development.
