Catholic Bishops discuss issues about Dec 7 polls and moral fibre of the society with Bawumia

 The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday, November 12 interacted with the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference.

The discussion was led by the President of the Catholic Bishops Conference, Most Rev Dr Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi at the Pope John Paul Formation Centre, Ofoase Kokoben in the Ashanti Region.

Dr Bawumia said he was grateful for the “open, frank and insightful discussions on important national issues, including the December 7 polls and the moral fibre of our society.”

“I am particularly grateful for the fatherly advice. May God bless us all,” he wrote onis Facebook page after the meeting.

Dr Bawumia has been campaigning in the Ashanti Region. On Monday November 11, he had  engagements in Bekwai, Bosomtwe, Ejisu and Asokwa Constituencies.

“I am grateful for the ecstatic welcome accorded me and I continue to be fortified in my belief that my policies and programmes are the best fit for moving Ghana to the next level of her holistic development.
